At CLW Concrete Construction Inc, we have been placing rebar and post-tension cable in the South Florida area for 40 years. CLW Concrete Construction has two coverage areas. On the West coast of Florida, we cover from Sarasota South to Marco Island and on the East coast; we cover from West Palm Beach south to Key West.

In 1963, Curtis Wolfe Sr. and his two brothers, James “Mac” Wolfe and Houston “Butch” Wolf, along with 3 partners created Tri W Steel. Huston Wolfe passed away in 1998 and James retired in 1983, but has returned to work and is currently handling the East coast area for CLW.

Over the years, the original partners retired and Curtis Sr. was the only original partner left. The Tri-W Steel name was changed in 1981 to CLW Concrete Construction Inc.

Currently Curtis Sr. is in the process of retiring. CLW Concrete Construction is now being run by Curtis L. Wolfe, Jr. as yet another generation of the Wolfe's continues in the rebar and post-tension business.

Curtis Jr., started going to work with his dad on Saturday's when he was 8 years old. He started working in the rebar business every summer as he completed his high school and college education; he then started full time in the business, working closely under his father's supervision. He started at the bottom and has truly earned his position today as Vice-President of CLW and currently handles all daily business transactions and oversees daily progress of all jobsites.

Today, CLW Concrete employs 500 ironworkers in the South Florida area doing 20 to 30 high rises at a time. We have a reputation of fast tracking high rise developments. We truly understand the value of pouring concrete. We say here at CLW, "If we're pouring concrete everyone is happy!"

With Curtis Jr., James and Curtis Sr., we have over 100 years of experience handling ironworkers, which in itself has been a true adventure! Ironworkers are known as 'Cowboys in the sky' and fully live up the name. At times we say we wish we never had to deal with ironworkers again, but we always overcome this wish knowing that tomorrow is a new day. At CLW Concrete Construction Inc. we are very proud to be ironworkers practicing a long honored trade.
